This is our main branch. This is a modern purpose built surgery with a client parking area to the front. (If you can’t get parked in our private car park use the public one adjacent to our property. If you tell the receptionist she will refund the parking fee as you pay when you leave).

We have a large reception area , five consulting rooms, three operating theatres, preparation areas, Xray room, laboratory, isolation area and kennelling facilities for dogs, cats and small animals and birds. We also have a range of specialised vivaria to house hospitalised reptiles.

We have an area to operate on small farmstock (lambing ewes for instance) and calf pens for hospitalising young animals such as alpacas etc.

Upstairs we have various offices and a meeting room.

We have modern dental facilities in our fully equipped dental suite, digital xray, endoscopy, ultrasound scanners and ecg equipment.

Our 12 veterinary surgeons are assisted by a team of 16 in the nursing department of whom 9 are fully qualified veterinary nurses. The vets work from Morpeth and attend the branch surgeries on a rota basis.

Our reception team at Morpeth includes Patsy, Julie, Ann, Thelam, Dawn and Angie.

During office hours to contact us for any reason ring 01670 512275 and one of our telephonists, Debbie  or our office secretary, Roz, will direct you to the correct department.

During evening surgery our receptionist Angie is on duty with only one other person so it may take a little longer to attend to the phone – please keep ringing, it will be answered.

If you ring to arrange a call-out you will probably speak to our practice secretary, Roz Paul. Roz also deals with pet passports and all the DEFRA paperwork amongst other things!
